Welcome to the Smudgeboutique.com website ('we', 'our', 'us', 'the website', 'our site'). A condition of using our site is that you must accept all our terms and conditions ('the terms'). If you are unable to accept the terms you should refrain from using the site. Smudgeboutique.com is an online service of Smudge Boutique, providing sales for personal use of clothing, footwear and accessories. All image appearing on the site have been taken with great care, however the colour clarity may vary between the natural eye and your computer monitor. We cannot therefore guarantee the accuracy of the colour. In order to purchase goods online, you must hold a valid debit or credit card. You should confirm that the information you supply to our website is accurate and complete and relates specifically to you, the customer. If any of your personal details change, you should advise us of the changes by email to sales@smudgeboutique.com . You must agree not to use or copy anyone elses identity, or a name which you are not authorised to use. By using our site, you will agree to be bound by the terms. We may change the terms and conditions from time to time, at our discretion. Using the website after changes have been made, will mean that you have agreed to accept the new changes.

Placing an order:

By placing your order you have agreed to pay the price as stated, you will then receive a confirmation email from Smudgeboutique.com stating your order has been received. You will receive a further email from Smudgeboutique.com when you order has been dispatched. We will contact you via email if any of the items you ordered are not in stock, your debit/credit card will then be automatically refunded. Smudgeboutique.com has accepted your order when you receive our email confirming your goods have been dispatched. We may not accept your order if: The item ordered is out of stock. We are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment. We find a product or pricing error. A product fails our internal quality checks.


UK Standard delivery: Smudge Boutique will have your order delivered Monday to Friday between the hours on 9:00am and 8.00pm. Please note that any orders placed over the bank holiday period will not be dispatched until the next working day. The times indicated consider only working days (Monday-Friday) and delays may be incurred during public holidays and factors outside of Smudge Boutique's control.

All prices above all inclusive of VAT. Please note International and European orders may be subject to additional postage charges after an order is placed. European and International customers will be contacted regarding any additional changes via email, with full details of how to make additional payment. Please contact our customer service team who can advise on any additional changes that may be applied: sales@smudgeboutique.com . All prices displayed are in pounds sterling and inclusive of VAT at the current rate. Local import taxes may be applied to deliveries outside the UK, which will be your responsibility. The customs office may hold your goods if the local import taxes are not paid.


Smudge Boutique prides itself on original and fresh products. With all of your purchases we hope to provide the best possible service and goods. However, if you are not completely satisfied you can return your purchases to us in their original condition, for a refund within 14 days of receipt. Note - the value of refund will exclude shipping costs. The recipient will be responsible for the cost of returning any items. Smudge Boutique is not responsible for any returns lost or damaged in the post; buyers are advised to use a signed delivery service when returning goods. Considerations should be taken as returning goods may take up to 7 working days to arrive with us, unless sent via special delivery, so please ensure you allow enough time for any return. Smudge Boutique thoroughly check all items for any defects before dispatch, but as an extra precaution we advise that customers check goods on receipt and before removing the garment tag. Once this tag is removed, we will not accept any returns unless the item is faulty. Once we have received the returned goods in their original condition with the Smudge tags intact, complete with all their original packaging, we will refund the original credit or debit card used for the purchase. The refund will incur the value of the order excluding the original delivery charge. We try to process the refund procedure as quick as possible once we have received the returned goods, but please allow up to 10 working days for the refund to be credited to your account. This will also depend on your bank or credit card issuer.

How to Return:

  1. Send an email to sales@smudgeboutique.com quoting your order number, your name and address, details of the product and the reason for return, and whether you require a refund or a replacement.
  2. Login to your Account. Go to " Merchandise Returns " and select the Item you wish to Rturn. Follow the process through and you will receive an RMA number. Complete the returns form that was enclosed with your package, clearly stating your name, order number, RMA number and the reason for return.
  3. Send the returns form back to Smudge boutique with the item(s) in all the original packaging. The item is your responsibility until it reaches us. For your own protection, we recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods. The return address is:
  4. Once your returned item(s) have arrived at Smudge Boutique and been verified by our customer services team we will process the refund. You will be notified by email informing you that your item(s) have been received safely and that we are processing your refund.

Please allow up to 10 working days for monies being refunded showing up on your bank statement.



Important Returns Information

Smudge Boutique will not accept returns for items returned outside of the 14 days return period, or items that have been worn, marked (with stains, smell or damage) or where the garment tag has been removed (unless the item is faulty). The item must be returned to us in its original packaging with the completed returns documentation enclosed. Our decision will always be final with regard to the condition of items if we have reasonable grounds to believe they have been worn. In some cases, where Royal Mail has been unable to secure a signature on delivery, the order will be taken to a Royal Mail postal office. If the customer does not collect the order, or arrange a redelivery with Royal Mail, the order will usually be returned to Smudge. Smudge will resend the order to the customer, at the customer’s expense. However, the 14 days returns policy will apply to the date that initial delivery was made, not the date of re-delivery. If what you have been sent is not what you originally ordered, please email sales@smudgeboutique.com quoting your order number, name and address, product details and the reason for return. Please also advise whether you require a refund or a replacement. We will then respond via email or telephone on how to proceed with your return.
